Born  and raised in New York, Dr. Pizzicarola graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology Pre-Veterinary from SUNY Oneonta in 2012 and received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University in 2016.

In 2019 he completed his training in canine physical therapy and became a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist (CCRT). He is currently enrolled at Chi University part time pursuing a masters degree in Canine integrative medicine. Dr. Pizzicarola also has interest in internal medicine. 

When not at work Dr. Pizzicarola enjoys hiking, trying the latest brewery, and listening to Bob Dylan and other musicians. He also plays the harmonica.
