Dr. Holgate was born and raised in Queens, NY and currently resides on Long Island. In 2020 she received her degree from Ross University in St. Kitts, and completed her clinical rotations at the University of Florida (Go Gators!). She has special interest in emergency medicine, managing chronic metabolic and dermatologic abnormalities, and point of care ultrasound. 

Dr. Holgate values a team effort approach and prides herself on educating clients to help them make informative decisions regarding their pet's health.  Dr. Holgate focuses on building partnership between herself and the client to achieve the best possible health outcomes for pets. This approach emphasizes open communication and shared-decision making. Together we can develop individualized care plans that align with your pet's medical requirements and the client's values and capabilities. 

During an appointment, Dr. Holgate believes in the importance of listening to a client's concerns and collaborate with them as a team to develop an individualized care plan that is tailored to their pets' specific needs. Dr. Holgate finds it rewarding to build lasting relationships with her clients and patients to help them live their longest, healthiest lives.

When she is not treating patients, Dr. Holgate enjoys spending time with her family, boating, and reading.
